NSMAC (National Management Systems Accreditation Council) is an autonomous Accreditation Board. NSMAC (National Management Systems Accreditation Council) gives accreditation to Certification Bodies to different Management System Schemes according to ISO 17021, Personnel Certification Bodies according to ISO 17024, Inspection Bodies according to ISO 17020 depending upon evaluation of their ability according to its measures and as per NMSAC and International Standards and Guidelines.

It works as per the relevant global guidelines and international standards while maintaining integrity and unprejudiced nature while considering national and public interest. NMSAC focuses on building up an impartial, transparent and independent accreditation framework. As a non-revenue driven accreditation body, decisions made by NMSAC are not dependent upon any business or monetary commitments. NMSAC is globally recognized and objective of turning into a signatory to worldwide Multilateral/Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MLA/MRA) at the same time guaranteeing measures to safeguard impartiality and objectivity of its accreditation process.

Accreditation approval board is responsible for making decisions regarding approval and continuation of accreditation services.
